How the ETA works

Most apps show a flat day-long average. That's wrong β€” pace falls all day in heat, mud, and fatigue.

GravelSignal uses your rider's actual pace between their last two splits, then projects forward using a fatigue curve calibrated to Unbound finishers:

  • Mile 0–50: baseline pace
  • Mile 50–100: ~5% slower
  • Mile 100–160: ~15% slower
  • Mile 160–finish: ~22% slower
